Apprentice’s Broken Tests
The last 2 episodes of the Apprentice were judged on a single factor: total sales. What kind of businessman would measure success on total sales? I’m not the greatest businessman ever but I know enough to realize that sales means nothing and that profit is everything. Unless some of the rules were edited out, it seems to me that either of the teams could have dropped their prices below cost and won the test even though their products would have lost money. Even if there was a rule against selling at a loss, a team could have priced their product at 1 penny over cost and had a higher total sales with almost no profit and won the test. Without the profit numbers, the numbers Trump used to judge those last 2 tests were useless.

it would appear they did it correctly last night (perhaps the D reads your blog?), though i thought it was a pretty ridiculous task. thank god little stacy got axed, she reminds me of former co-workers whom i had some disdain for, i don’t even know how she got on the show. IMO, apex is a powerhouse now, and despite everyone elses opionion, i’m pulling for Raj (if he can get his hormones in check).

I noticed they finally did it right last night, too. I still can’t figure out why they did it wrong the last 2 times. I was glad to see the munchkin go, too. Hopefully Maria will be next. I think she is the only remaining contestant that makes me whince when she speaks.
