“Black Triangles” UFO Sitings Continue
In 1994, my girlfriend at the time was driving from Boone to Charlotte to visit her friend Kelly on a Friday night. She saw bright lights over the exit ramp from I-77 to Harris Blvd in Charlotte and at first thought they were football stadium lights. It was a clear night, though, clear enough for her to quickly see that those lights were not on a pole, but where outlining a black triangle hovering in the air. She turned onto the exit ramp to get a better look and the UFO (which is a Unidentified Flying Object by definition until someone defines it, right?) slowly moved left, towards the interstate, so she got back onto the interstate.
She said it was obvious that everyone on the road was watching it because they all slowed, like her, and were probably also trying to figure out what it was as it hovered over I-77 and then slowly lifted straight up into the sky.
Needless to say, she was excited and rushed the rest of the way to Kelly’s apartment. When she got there, she told the story to the group of people already gathered there. They listened intently and all freaked when she got to the description of the craft. The description of the UFO matched the one Kelly’s brother and friends had seen the previous Monday in Asheville. (Kelly’s brother and friends had all gone back to the same spot the next night with flashlights, hoping to see it or call it back or something, which of course didn’t work.)
I was excited and a bit jealous about the whole thing but I knew it was the truth, you can tell when people are lying about things and especially BIG things like this.
KLAS-TV recently did a short story regarding these UFOs. Apparently they have been seen all over the world since the 80’s, including sightings confirme by military and radar.
The frequent proximity of triangle sightings to air force bases led NIDS to conclude two years ago that the craft must be part of a secret military project. But in the two years since, the triangles have become so prevalent over big cities and interstate highways that the theory doesn’t fit anymore.

I don’t write off the “secret military project” angle at all, though. Why would they fly so close to a city? Several reasons I can think of: If you have a ship that flies extremely fast, getting a few hundred miles off course would be easy and frequent. Maybe they were over the interstate to get some idea of where on Earth they were. Or maybe they were testing the radar-cloaking functions. If you have a stealth plane, you have to test it near civilian radars, like the Charlotte-Douglas Airport.
I guess we’ll never know unless someone either finally reveals the ship (like the B-2 Stealth Bomber, which was the subject matter of many UFO stories for years before it was finally revealed to the public) or until someone finally delivers on Jimmy Carter’s broken promise to let the American public know the truth about the US government’s knowledge of UFOs.

I have seen one myself, 12 years ago. It was 1 am. The object was triangular in shape, with 3 red lights at each tip which switched on and off one at a time. The color was black. It just floated there for hours without moving. After 2 hours I went to sleep. When I checked the spot again at 8 am it was gone. I believe it was an alien spaceship. The 3 red lights couldn’t have been stars. Stars do not blink slowly, on and off, one after the other. It definitely wasn’t an aircraft either. Aircrafts do not hang there in the sky, motionless.

We saw same but in finland New Year 2000. There was 3 red lights in the sky shape of triangle. I, my brother, girl friend saw that. My mom also saw that in the other side of city. Red lights moved slowly and they stayed occasionally in same place. It did not keep any noise.

i have seen it to except on interstate 8 heading for tucson arizona just ariving gila bend arizona i couldnt tell if it was a triangle all i saw was lights one then two then they would motion around it like if it was a cirlce they wouldnt go all the way around just three or four deep but they were repeating over and over for about 5 min and i know it had to be a ufo i seen this siting on july 28 i dont know who to post it but you can do it for me if you like i have told many friends some belive some dont but i seen it with my own eye i know that it was there i mean those light lite up the whold damn dessert you would think the goverment would have some thing to do with it but there is no fossil fuels on this planet that could make that thing move like it was moving side to side up and down but its good to know i aint the only one excited over this incedent. thanks and remember there really out there some where and we have seen them

In the early seventies I attend Ohio University in Athens Ohio. One day while my girl friend and I were on our way home from O.U. we driving on highway 33 outside of Diamond Ohio. We had the radio off because we could find a station that we liked then suddenly out of left corner of my eye I happened to see something strange, It was a black triangle on the other side of the highway all the traffic behind me slowed and began to flash their car lights, we slowed too as we tried to figure out what this was, the triangle slowed about 50 feet above the powerlines as it crossed over the highway in front of us it houvered in the field for a minnte then came back across the highway then took off straight up and vannished.
Needless to say we were all in shock then we notice a lot of military aircraft in the area. I never believed in UFO’s until after that experience
A few years later I was working at a radio station in northern Ohio when over the tele-type machine came a local news flash. There had been a siting of a Triangle UFO around Diamond Ohio the same place of our siting the craft had landed and left tri-pod markings in a field

Location: Ocean Isle, NC Date: Mid-July 2000 Time: 9:00 PM Weather: Inland thunderstorm activity but clear on the beach. Wind was steady from the ocean blowing inland at about 15 knots. Myself and 5 others observed three (3) triangular craft traveling from NE to SW parallel to the water line. Altitude approx 200 feet. No navigation lights or portals on the diamond shaped triangular craft were visible. The craft were very dark gray, somewhat of a matte finish. They moved from the Carolina Beach area down the coast to the lower tip of Ocean Isle then turned inland at that point and without banking, all three crossed the intercoastal waterway and ‘buzzed’ the Ocean Isle general aviation airport flying wing tip to wing tip at about 30 Kts. I lost sight as they turned for the airport. Five minutes later they returned from the airport area and again traveled down the coastline toward the SC border. They never made a sound, they never changed altitude and there were no identifying markings. At first I thought they might be F 117 stealth fighters or maybe even B2 stealth aircraft. But without sound, no exhaust and without banking or control surfaces apparent it suddenly dawned on me that something was wrong. We do not fly billion dollar aircraft wing tip to wing tip so low to the ground with the public being at risk from a mid air collision or crash. As a private pilot, with my aircraft parked at the Ocean Isle airport, I was quite alarmed at what happened. After the craft passed my house on the beach, I realized these craft were flying below any stall speed, wing tip to wing tip (5 feet spacing)in perfect formation without correction for wind or turbulence in a heavily crowded beach resort area just after dark at extremely low altitude. The right wingtip of the craft closest to the shore had a single intense visible ‘white’ beam spotlight tracking the beach. It was fixed and did not scan or change colors. I remain convinced that these craft that were approx. 75 feet long and about 75 feet wide were being controlled by some sort of intelligence.

In the summer of 2006
I was at one of my best friend’s house (In a rural area near Austin, Texas). She and I had really strong feelings for each other back then, so we would sit out late at night star gazing. One night, we both saw a huge blue flash that covered the entire sky with light for a split second. We were both clueless of what it was and where it came from.
Just a few nights later
I was walking over to her house (She lives a quarter-mile away from me). I looked up at the stars, but I saw more than just that. What I saw was just so unreal, I had never seen anything like it before. It was a huge black triangle flying low and at slow speed. I was astonished, it was spectacular. I didn’t go to her house that night, instead, I ran home immediately wrote down what I saw.
I only told this to a few of my closest friends
I told my older brother (he lives 2 min walking distance away) what I saw in early January 2008. He looked at me like I was crazy, then he looked puzzled, then he told me that when he was around 14 (Which would be around ‘97) he saw a big, low hovering, brightly lit triangle in the sky.
We told this our mom
And she told us that for about the first 3 years we lived out there (We moved there in ‘91. I was just a 1 year old baby) there were always military helicopters flying around our neighborhood.
