You can only put around 25 songs in a Rhapsody playlist if you want to share them via the blog or email functions, so I trimmed a few off of this list of 90’s metal bands. In order to help keep the list small, I only put 1 song from each band and I only included bands that I saw live. There was some great metal in the 80’s but then the hairspray took over and “metal” became as useless as “alternative” became in the mid-90’s.
