I start a new job January 10, less than 2 weeks shy of the 3rd anniversary of being laid off at my last job. I hadn’t really planned on going that long but once you’ve worked for yourself, it is next to impossible to work for anyone else unless the place meets some very high standards. This new job (which shall remain nameless, they don’t need the publicity, they’re doing quite fine without my help) looks like a dream job and my position isn’t going to be easy but is right on track with they way I’ve been moving recently in my own work. Because I’m no longer working alone (or with a very small team), I’ll be able to spend the time and effort doing things right because I can concentrate on my area and not the entire project.
I think the new job and the SinCLT launch are pretty good indicators that the year is starting off right.
