The Battle For Ozzfest ends Monday and I am happy (and slightly surprised) to see that Cynder is one of the 2 bands to make it to the finals.

Cynder hails from the wonderful little town of Lexington, NC; the town that also produced Eric, some damn fine BBQ, and that’s about it.
The winner will be picked by voters at MTV.com, so go vote!

When I search for “Cynder” on The Lexington Dispatch’s website, it returns 0 matches; there must be some mistake. These guys have made it to the finals of a nationally broadcast contest/”Reality Show” where the prize is a spot on next year’s world wide Ozzfest tour, surely that little po-dunk newspaper mentioned them at some point, right?

Regardless of the result, congrats to Ryan and Cynder.
