McCain’s Big Mistake?
Obama chose a running mate that would help defend against many of the attacks leveled at his inexperience and lack of foriegn policy chops. Apparently against his own better judgement, McCain chose a female with so little experience she makes Dan Quayle look qualified. I assume this is a ploy to try to get Hillary’s scraps but I don’t think there is much of a chance of that happening with an anti-abortion candidate that believes talking snakes should be taught in school.
McCain, once a maverick that I wanted to vote for (in 2000), has slowly lost all control over his candidacy and, unless America really is as blind, deaf, dumb, and scared stupid as the Rove boys think, this election shouldn’t even be close.
After the 2004 election, I just don’t have faith that I’m right, though. Please tell me America can’t really hate itself enough to elect McCain… please…
