Unknown Hinson at The Visulite 2009-03-28
I have somehow missed every Unknown Hinson show so far in my life but I’m going to try to never let that happen again. This show was the perfect blend of fun, funny, music, and energy. I knew it would be fun and funny but I had no idea that he was such a great guitar player. Most of the songs were original but the encore was full of blistering cover songs (including “Behind Blue Eyes” redone as “Behind Black Eyes” and a smoking “Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)” that dipped into “Dazed and Confused” for a bit) that ended an almost 2-hour show with a satisfying bang.
