Doral Apartments: Our Mottos are Depressing

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Doral Apartments needs a new slogan. “Your Journey Ends Here…” isn’t exactly something will make you want to move to an apartment complex best known for the fact that it floods every time a good Summer storm rolls through. Maybe “Where dreams go to die” would have gotten them sued by the Hollywood, [...]

Photos of Snowfight at Amos’ Southend May 29, 2009

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

I saw the first Snowfight show a couple months ago at Amos’ Southend and then saw them again last Friday. I’m not sure if they had new songs for this show or if they werer just better after a couple more months of practice, but they definitely sounded better and more cohesive to me this [...]

I Went To Trader Joe’s Yesterday

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

I finally went to the new Trader Joe’s on my way home yesterday but after driving around the parking lot 1.5 times, I decided that driving up to the 2nd level of the parking deck was just silly so I continued on my way home instead.

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

I just posted about 40 photos from Friday night’s Fool’s Brigade Rolling Stones tribute at the Neighborhood Theatre. It was a 6-hour show and I had early morning plans so I had to miss the final hour, unfortunately. The show was great. TONS of talent, extremely fast changes between sets, the sound [...]

My Starbucks is Gone

Sunday, April 12th, 2009

When they “temporarily” closed the Starbucks on Elizabeth a couple months ago (as pictured here), I had a feeling it would stay closed.
Looks like I was right: the Starbucks on Elizabeth is closed permanently.
Unfortunately, the closest coffeeshop (SKNet Cafe) to my house is useless.  2 of the last 3 times I went there, they were [...]

PEELANDER-Z at The Milestone March 14, 2009 : XML Photography Gallery

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

I took some shots of PEELANDER-Z at The Milestone, all with available light because I didn’t want to be “that guy” with the flash going off all night. I defintely missed a few shots because of that but a few came out okay. Here is my PEELANDER-Z at The Milestone Gallery.
