I finally went to the new Trader Joe’s on my way home yesterday but after driving around the parking lot 1.5 times, I decided that driving up to the 2nd level of the parking deck was just silly so I continued on my way home instead.

When they “temporarily” closed the Starbucks on Elizabeth a couple months ago (as pictured here), I had a feeling it would stay closed.

The construction on Elizabeth Ave has been wrecking the neighborhood for well over a year now. A couple weeks ago, it finally caused a few of the businesses near the Hawthorn intersection to call it quits temporarily. They claim this Starbucks (”my” Starbucks) will only be closed for 6 months. I hope they’re right.
