Outer Banks Photos – September, 2010

Marisa and I took a long weekend to visit the Outer Banks last week. We did a little tourist sight-seeing and a little beach lounging. I took some a few photos while there, mostly with a rented 20mm f/2.8 lens.

There are only 10 photos in the set. I would have taken more but I am afraid to take my camera onto the beach. Click any of the links above to see the rest.

Matt And Sadie Engagement Photos

I was honored when asked to be in my oldest friend’s wedding. When I was also asked to take their engagement photos, I was honored and a little worried. I really didn’t want to mess up my friends’ photos. I ended up having a pretty easy time of it. they did all the hard work; I just pushed the button on the camera. The results weren’t bad at all, in my opinion. I’m waiting to hear what their parents think, those are the opinions that matter

That 70s Beach House (ExtraMediumLarge Gallery)

Eric Parks told me about his grandparents’ beach house a few months ago and I immediately wanted to schedule a trip to take photos there. It took a while before we got a group together with the right props but we were finally able to spend a few days on Oak Island and get some pics while there.

Be Prepared to Show Your Papers When Printing Photos at Wal-Mart

Eric has run into a problem that I’ve heard of from several sources over the last couple years: Wal-Mart won’t print photos if they’re good. Luckily, he found the link to the PDF version of the release form that apparently lets Fuji off the hook if you’re trying to print stolen professional photos.
